Starbucks EMEA | 2011 - 2019
I have eight years’ experience at Starbucks EMEA, where I quickly worked my way up from Design Manager responsible for Travel Channel locations, to being promoted to the Design Leadership Team, where I creatively led a group of 15 and managed licensee relationships for Turkey, the Middle East, Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe. In doing so I partnered with senior internal and external stakeholders, identified challenges and opportunities, and used my retail design and project management expertise to deliver up to 200 beautiful and successful store openings per year.
Equally importantly, I quickly identified the necessity to streamline the retail innovation process; address rapidly changing consumer and business needs; and established the Concept Design team that:
Explored - through Concept Store Design -new ways to attract and engage with customers and trialled alternate operational models.
Created tools to deliver over 800 high quality projects per year.
Influenced the direction of brand innovation and enhanced non-retail, sustainability and process operations.
Developed strategic retail programs
Implemented product innovation, elevated the customer experience, researched, analysed and documented findings for future upscaling.
Built productive, trusted and long-standing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Mentored over 50 people to implement programs and better ways of working.
